The other main problem I am having is that I see NO devices in the Device Manager. I tried to turn on the services I need to get online but that didn't work either. I try to go to services.msc to change the services but not all of them will start. I believe it is because I do not have the required services running. I believe the virus changed this as well.
When I try to enable to Network Connection service I get the error: Could not start the Network Connections service on Local computer Error 3: The system cannot find the path specified. Please make sure the Network Connection service is enabled and running. I get the error: The Network Connections Folder was unable to retrieve the list of network adapters on your machine. I can't connect to the internet through either Wifi or a wired connection.
Here are the issues I am having after removing the Windows Security Essentials virus. I booted in safe mode and ran RKIll, and then scanned with Malwarebytes MBAM and removed the infected files. I am having some problems now that I have removed (or atleast think I have?) the malware.
